Dear customers,

The PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 has been in force since April 21, 2018. This results in the following obligations for acousticians

1. to provide user training, which includes instruction on the use and safety-relevant aspects of hearing protection.
2. functional testing within six months of delivery of the custom-made hearing protection - regardless of whether it is used privately or professionally. We recommend two test methods for you to choose from.
3. documentation of the training and the functional test. You will then receive a corresponding confirmation from us.

To ensure a smooth process, we provide you with all the information you need to carry out the functional test (valid for products from 01.07.2025) - including a form that you can use to report your results easily and in accordance with the regulations. The bachmaier® comfort is also listed, but is not subject to mandatory testing.
