The PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 came into force on April 21, 2018. This results in the following obligations for acoustician

1. to provide user training that includes instruction on the use and safety aspects of hearing protection.

2. a functional test of the custom-made hearing protection must be carried out within six months of delivery, regardless of whether it is used privately or professionally. We recommend two test methods from which you can choose.

3. documentation of the training and the functional test is required. You will then receive a confirmation from us.
