nature® basic

nature® basic - the basic material for RIC fittings, demonstrates stylish elegance even without a lacquer finish. Careful finishing results in a matt polished, cost-optimised surface that combines 100% nature® design and quality. We manufacture nature® basic from rigid acrylate. The product undergoes the same meticulous process as a classic nature® earmold made of rigid material. The only difference is that we do without the elaborate lacquer finish at the end.

Matt but oho.

nature® basic combines the sophisticated design and detailed workmanship of a classic nature® earmold with sensible standard features. It is therefore the ideal product for all those who want to do without a lacquered surface, but never without the highest quality and absolute accuracy of fit.

ACRYLATE 3D

easy to insert and remove, durable, dirt-repellent, easy to clean, break-resistant

CLASSIFICATION
Directive 93/42/EEC (medical device class IIa)

Clear as crystal.

This highly transparent material is processed energy-efficiently using direct 3D printing and is characterised by high stability and excellent UV resistance. Earmolds made from light-curing 3D acrylate have a high elongation at break and do not become brittle. They are robust, particularly easy to care for and fulfil the highest aesthetic demands. Available in three colors. All rigid earmolds are ground, compacted and polished to a high gloss in our 3-stage vibratory grinding process. The homogeneous surface treatment is a process that is coordinated in detail, because it is only through the right setting and the perfect "recipe" that our extremely break-resistant earmoulds with dirt-repellent surfaces and a brilliant high-gloss finish are created. The validated and standardised mass finishing process ensures a reproducible precision finish with a high surface quality for every single earmould. Our basic products are made from the same materials and undergo the same high-quality process. Only the final step, polishing, is omitted. A lacquered or glazed surface can be ordered as an option for an additional charge.

Wall Thickness

1,4 mm

normal

  • comfortable to wear
  • good fixation of the handse
  • medium heat dissipation

1,4 mm is our proven standard wall thickness. All nature® earmolds in this thickness maintain the perfect balance between too much and too little. They combine a comfortable fit with good fixation of the hearing aid and at the same time have room to move without being too soft.

0,8 mm

thin

  • feather-light feel
  • fast customer acceptance
  • high heat dissipation

Extremely thin walls of just 0.8 mm can be created from our thermo-flexible material. These thin and flexible walls adapt to every movement of the ear canal and allow the nature® earmold to virtually melt into the ear - for a feather-light wearing comfort.

Our tip: We recommend a thin wall thickness for mild to moderate hearing loss.

max.

solid

  • stable earmold
  • very good fixation of the receiver
  • low heat dissipation

The solid construction ensures that the receiver is optimally guided in the cavity provided for it and thus enables a secure hold in the earmold. The receiver cannot slip or wobble.

Our tip: The wall thickness depends on the earpiece size and is made as solid as possible.

Insert part

nature® earmolds made of rigid material require an insert to fix the receiver in place. nature® made of thermo-flexible material can also be manufactured by us without an insert part, as this material can be heated and slim tubes or RICs can be placed directly into the bore. This guarantees the smallest possible size and, in combination with our standard bore (2.0 mm), creates the basis for a large number of manufacturers.

*Excluding Audio Service, Signia, Siemens and Connex Version 2.0.

Venting

We supplement our ventings with three additional options.

Normal

Additional waxing on the tragus increases the seal.

Graded (Stepvent)

Additional waxing on the tragus increases the seal.

Separate

A ventilation hole is drilled above and below the receiver hole.

Extension for all vents

With this option, the ventings can be easily enlarged during the fitting process. We place the appropriate holes in advance to simplify post-processing.

Opening & Co

An opening provides additional ventilation of the ear tissue and better heat dissipation. In addition, openings can be used to create more space for the installation of the receiver in narrow spaces or a highly angled ear canal.

Good to know! Unlike a recess, the functional edges remain intact, resulting in significantly more stability and hold.

tragus side

concha side

both sides

Recesses serve to ventilate sensitive ears. Significantly less heat is generated in the area of these cavities, as the skin remains free and is therefore not restricted in its thermo-regulating function.

tragus side

concha side

both sides

The option jaw joint recess avoids the area of the jaw joint in the ear canal with the nature® earmold. This reduces chewing noises and resonances of the skull bone and provides an optimal sound image. Whether open or closed depends on the type and method of fitting.

Extras

Retrieval thread

The nature® earmold can be selected with an already fitted retrieval thread, with a separately enclosed retrieval thread for later fitting or without a retrieval thread.

Earwax guard

We use the HF4 Black audio service filter for earwax guard as standard. Optionally we install CeruStop.

Desired laser engraving

In addition to the serial number, we engrave a name of your choice or an individual number on the earmold. Up to 11 characters are possible.

Color marking

Our earmolds are marked blue for left and red for right as standard.

Antireflection

A special sandblasting process is used to anti-reflect the earmold on the surfaces facing the ear canal. This creates an even, silky matt surface that neither reflects nor gleams, even in strong light, thus ensuring minimal visibility in the ear.

Special shapes

All special shapes can be ordered in all materials. Many other options are also possible, e.g. antireflection or customized laser engraving.

Not the shape you want?

Are you looking for a very special shape and haven't found it yet?
Then simply write to us with your request: support@bachmaier.de

If required, we will send you a digital twin in advance for production approval.

Extended version

This earmold enables precise earpiece positioning in narrow ear canals. With Thermo-Flex, the wax guard is always integrated and an insert is optional, while the rigid version always uses a wax guard and an insert.

All supports available.

Light

Very high heat dissipation due to minimal skin surface coverage by the material. Only recommended for low reinforcements and pronounced anatomies.

All supports available.

Half

Earmold for extremely difficult earpiece placements.

Only available without supports.

Old shape

Earmold with central ex-earpiece position and four cut-outs for more flexibility in fitting.

All supports available.

Shortened version

Earmold for extremely small ears. Only recommended for pronounced anatomies due to the low retention.

Only available without support.
